Our
Founder, Blessed James Alberione, understood the need to give life to our
Congregation and place it at the service of the Church and the world.
I believe in
the One who created me and called me to share the Charism given to James
Alberione, and so I look on everything in my life with the eyes of faith.
I consider “The
Dream” as fundamental for the Primo Maestro and for all Paulines: the image of
Jesus Master indicating the Tabernacle anc the words “Fear not I am with you,
from here I will enlighten have a contrite heart”. These were words of great
importance for him to the extent that he wanted them written beside every
tabernacle in the Pauline Family. He knew the value of Prayer “da me nulla
posso, con Dio posso tutto”.
Prayer
permeates every aspect of my life. For me PDDM is charisma. Our way of life
lived in the Spirit of Christ and of James Alberione is radiated through the
Threeforld Apostolate.
I was drawn
particularly to the Eucharist in its varied aspects, and to the Liturgy of
which I had little appreciation until I became a Pious Disciple. It has given
real meaning to my life. I relate so well to the Liturgical aspect of my
vocation so much so that it has become my way of life and joy.
At this stage
of my life in which I am less physically active in the apostolic works, I
still live to the full my Eucharistic-Liturgical-Priestly vocation through
Prayer (Adoration) extending the Mass to every aspect of my day; offering all
for the glory of God and the salvation of souls, and in the process (I hope)
my own santification.
Blessed James
Alberione, pray for us.
